1 Reproducible applies to both the outcome in cross-cultural church planting among the unreached as well as reproducing of the training itself. This drives us to create a training movement in contrast to a centralized institution. The reproduced Journey identities are movement-like in that they are built on principles which are expressed differently in different contexts and are not subject to central control. Resources are freely available but also non-copyrighted in the sense that they may be freely adapted to meet local contextual needs.

2 The training and church planting strives to keep people in the community where church planting is occurring and actively encourages local people to stay within their social networks.

3 Culture is the God-ordained way in which society maintains order and communicates and lives out its values. We actively encourage the development of patterns of church life that honor, respect, and utilize local ways of doing things that do not compromise biblical values.
